The Flower Shop has a little bit of everything you would want in a local bar. The atmosphere is cozy and vibrant. The 70’s style bar set up makes you feel that you are at a friends house. The retro ambiance provides an escape from the New York City streets.

The Flower Shop is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 5pm-2am. They are closed Monday and Sundays. From 5pm-7pm there is a Happy Hour menu with $5 Miller Lites, $10 select wines as well as quick bar food (wings, mozzarella stick, loaded fries…all menus here).

The Flower Shop has over 500 reviews on Google and has a 4.3 star rating. Pricing is marked as $$$ (expensive) but after looking at the prices I would say $$ (moderately expensive). The Happy Hour menu has a lot of good food and drink specials that can help you eat and drink here without spending more than you need to…but I would say spend the extra $10 and order something off the main menu.

The atmosphere at The Flower Shop can be considered well rounded and unique. The 70’s style basement bar with retro sofas and pool table transforms you to a different yet familiar place. If this escapism isn’t enough reason to visit…maybe the celebrity sightings will bring you to Flower Shop.

Most highly rated for it’s 70’s themed basement space with living room set up and pool table…plus the happy hour menu and oysters.
