V{IV} is a popular thai restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen. It is known for good quality thai food, cocktails and service but is remembered for it’s futuristic theme with neon decor. The neon dragon illuminating across the ceiling is very unique…even for New York City.

V{IV} is located on 9th Avenue between 48th and 49th Street in Hell’s Kitchen. The location makes it easily accessible by city bus, subway, the ferry, and buses coming into Port Authority. If coming by subway, you would take the A,C,E and 1 & 2 subways stop a few blocks away at 50th Street and the B,D,E at 7th Avenue. If coming from outside of the city via ferry, the Midtown/39th Street ferry stop is a quick cab ride away…and if coming by bus, Port Authority about a 10 minute walk away.

Out of all the thai restaurants in NYC, V{IV} really stands out…as shown by the over 3.2K reviews left on Google, giving a rating of 4.7 stars. Reviews show that eating at V{IV} is great if you are looking for larger options…or like me and wanting to share so you can have one of everything. Since thai food is known for its sometimes spicy kick, the menu specifies what will be spicy on the menu, as they also do with vegan and gluten free options, which they have a lot of choices for. You can visit V{IV} for lunch or dinner 7 days a week. They open at 12p daily and close from 3:45p-5p for a quick post-lunch service, pre-dinner service break.
