On Sunday, September 13, the sports lifestyle brand behind the iconic ’47 Clean Up dad hat is taking over Ace Bar at 531 E. 5th Street for an all-day NFL celebration. The best part? It’s free, open to everyone and requires no RSVP.
Starting at 12:45 p.m., Ace Bar will become a football-fueled headquarters with games playing across the screens throughout the afternoon and evening. That includes the Jets and Bills among the early games, before the day culminates with the Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants Sunday Night Football matchup.
Naturally, ’47 isn’t just showing up with a stack of hats and calling it a party.
Guests can expect free drinks, bar games, pizza and a free T-shirt from the brand’s new Everyday Collection while supplies last. There will even be a duck claw machine, because apparently the only thing football fans needed was another opportunity to compete for questionable prizes.
The event is also perfectly timed with the launch of ’47’s new Everyday Collection, extending the brand beyond its traditional sportswear roots. Founded in Boston in 1947, ’47 began selling sports memorabilia around Fenway Park and has since evolved into a major lifestyle brand with partnerships across the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and NCAA.
