Ellen’s Stardust Diner is a must-go for anyone visiting New York City. Located on Broadway in Times Square, Ellen’s Stardust Diner is a great option for those visiting Radio City Music Hall, The Museum of Broadway, The Plaza, and Central Park. It is a quick 20 minute walk from both Grand Central Station and Penn Station, so easily accessible for those coming from outside of the city. For those already in the city, it is accessible by the 1 and 2 trains to 50th Street, the B,D,E to 7th Avenue, and B,D,F,M to Rockefeller Center.

With almost 17,000 reviews on Google, it is no surprise that Ellen’s is a hotspot! These reviews average a 4.4 star rating with the highlights being the entertainment, singers, music, and location. The food is moderately priced and offers a wide selection of all day breakfast, appetizers, sandwiches, salads, burgers, pasta, grilled cheeses, desserts, and shakes. They also have a “blue plate” menu with meal size servings of quiche, chicken tenders, chicken parmesan, “mamma mia meatloaf”, and chicken and waffles.

Ellen’s Stardust Diner is open 7 days a week from 7am-midnight. The live entertainment is consistent throughout the day, from open to close. Some of the food highlights include the pancake selections (buttermilk, chocolate chip, fruity pebbles, peanut butter cup, cinnamon roll, and maple bacon), the boozy shakes (Megan’s special mudslide, strawberry daiquiri, pina colada), and the kitchen sink (rainbow cake, vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, coffee, mint chip and cookie dough ice cream, 3 sauces, topped with sprinkles, strawberries, bananas, cherries + whipped cream) which serves 6 people.

Seating is on a walk-in basis, they do not take reservations. If you are planning for a large group of 25+ they will make arrangements to accommodate ahead of time. The diner is wheelchair accessible and all age groups are welcome!
