When it comes to food, New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani has some good taste.
While known for eating with his hands and dining out in Queens and Brooklyn, Mamdani was reportedly eating at Chatti in Manhattan, says The Hindu website.
According to the report, Mamdani dined with his wife Rama Duwaji, parents, filmmaker Mira Nair, and Mahmood Mamdani.
Chatti is run by Chennai-based Chef Regi Mathew, which showcases Kerala’s toddy shop cuisine where dishes range for $50 to $100 per person.
No word yet on the final bill cost, but it was most likely pretty pricey for a ‘socialist.’
