New York City already has enough bakeries to keep your carb intake questionable, but one famous London bakery is about to give the Upper East Side a very good reason to make room for one more.

Bread Ahead is opening its first-ever U.S. location in New York City this November, bringing its beloved crème brûlée doughnuts, sourdough breads, pastries and baking school across the pond. The new bakery will open at 1571 Second Avenue at East 82nd Street on the Upper East Side.

If you haven’t met Bread Ahead yet, prepare yourself.

The London bakery launched in Borough Market in 2013 with just three products: sourdough, brownies and amaretti biscuits. The doughnuts came later—and eventually became the brand’s superstar. Its crème brûlée doughnut is filled with vanilla crème pâtissière and topped with caramelized sugar that gets torched until gloriously crackly. Basically, crème brûlée decided it wanted to be portable.

And the doughnuts aren’t the only reason to visit.

The NYC bakery will also serve sourdough, croissants, pastries and other baked goods, while bringing Bread Ahead’s popular baking school to Manhattan. Classes will cover everything from doughnuts and sourdough to bagels, pizza, croissants and Italian baking.

The baking workshops are already available to book, with classes generally running around three hours. Some early classes are priced from $95 to $150, and Bread Ahead is currently offering a limited-time two-for-one launch promotion.

For anyone searching for new bakeries in NYC, Upper East Side bakeries, the best doughnuts in NYC or where to find London’s famous crème brûlée doughnuts, this opening belongs on the radar.

No exact November opening day has been announced yet.

But consider this your warning: the Upper East Side is about to get very, very buttery.
