Raoul’s
French Restaurant in SoHo
Founded in 1975 by two brothers from Alsace, France, Raoul’s has been a SoHo staple for over 45 years. To this day it is known for its fresh steaks and seafood. Check out Raoul’s for brunch to order the ‘Raoul’s Burger au Poivre’.
Thanks to food delivery services you can order Raoul’s from anywhere. Order through Goldbelly for long distance orders or order through Caviar for delivery throughout they city. Find out for yourself if Raoul’s has the ‘best burger in America’ as described by Esquire magazine.
For an older establishment, Raoul’s holds its own amongst the newer competition as proven with over 700 reviews on Google and an average of 4.6 stars. Pricing is ranked $$$ (expensive) with the dinner menu offering more traditional French dishes than other French restaurants we have reviewed. The brunch menu is great for anyone not adventurous enough to commit to a French entree but that wants to get a taste for French cuisine.
I would definitely recommend Raoul’s for the ultimate French experience. Aside from the cuisine, the wine and dessert selections are complimentary to the high quality food you would expect to be eating in Paris.

Most highly rated dishes to order at Raoul’s: steak au poivre, steak frites, beignets, creme brulee. Honorable mention for the atmosphere (including the staircase-which I warn you to please be careful on when heading to the upstairs bathroom) and honorable mention for the cocktails (Note: I am biased when a good French 75 is a house special…).
