Not everyone in the Hamptons is super-pumped about a new spot opening up.
According to The East Hampton Star in March, The M.T.A. said East Hampton Bar Car, a cafe and wine bar, was to be opening at the Long Island Rail Road station in East Hampton.
However, according to New York Magazine, some folks were none-to-pleased and circulated a petition to stop Bar Car from opening.
Locals are concerned it will turn into a “drinking destination.” And others seem more concerned about the potential impact it may already have on ‘limited parking.’
Coffee and drinks while you wait for the train? Seems like a win-win.
