New York’s private members’ club scene is about to get another stylish address. Soho House is planning its fourth New York City House, opening in early 2028 in the heart of NoMad, inside the historic Beaux-Arts Johnston Building on Broadway. And this time, the membership perks extend well beyond cocktails, networking, and casually pretending not to notice who just walked into the room.
The new Soho House NoMad promises to combine the brand’s signature social atmosphere with a serious wellness offering, making it one of the company’s most ambitious New York projects yet.
Soho House NoMad Brings Broadway Glamour
The upcoming House will feature a Club Bar and Drawing Room overlooking Broadway, alongside a separate bar and lounge, a pantry for late-night drinks, and a hidden outdoor terrace. An events space designed for live performances will also give members another reason to put their phones away—at least until the next celebrity sighting.
Set inside the historic Johnston Building, the project will bring contemporary members-club culture into a building with plenty of architectural character. In NoMad, where fashionable hotels, restaurants, and nightlife venues continue to compete for attention, Soho House is clearly betting that a little history makes the perfect backdrop for modern exclusivity.
Soho House’s First New York Gym Is Coming
The biggest headline may be the wellness offering. The new location will introduce Soho House’s first gym in New York City and its most advanced Soho Health Club to date.
Spanning 20,000 square feet, the facility will focus on social wellness, therapeutic treatments, and recovery amenities. Members can expect a sauna, hammam, and ice bath, bringing a full-scale wellness experience into the private club environment.
In other words, you can sweat through a workout, recover in the ice bath, and still make it upstairs in time for a cocktail. Balance is everything.
Soho House’s NYC Expansion Continues
Scheduled to open in early 2028, the new NoMad House will expand Soho House’s New York footprint while giving members a fresh destination for socializing, entertainment, fitness, and recovery.
For New Yorkers who like their wellness with a side of exclusivity, Broadway is about to become an even more interesting address.
