If your idea of a perfect night involves cold beer, loaded nachos, buffalo wings and enough televisions to make missing the game nearly impossible, Triona’s on Third has your name written all over it.

Located at 190 Third Avenue, Triona’s on Third is a Gramercy/East Village sports bar built for game days, happy hours and those “I’ll only stay for one” evenings that somehow end at 2 a.m.

The bar describes itself as a Vintage Sporting Club, blending an old-school neighborhood-bar feel with plenty of screens, classic American bar food and a serious selection of beer and cocktails. The building itself dates back to 1894, adding a little history to the otherwise very modern ritual of yelling at a referee from across the room.

The menu is exactly what you want when watching sports: jumbo chicken wings, nachos, quesadillas, pretzels, mozzarella sticks, burgers, cheesesteaks and fries. The Gaelic Burger adds Dubliner cheese and Irish bacon, while the Chicago Dog brings a little Windy City energy to Third Avenue.

Then there’s the happy hour.

Weekday specials include $5 Miller Lite and Coors Light drafts, $8 house wine and spirits, plus $10 margaritas and Aperol Spritzes. Triona’s also runs themed specials throughout the week, including trivia nights and Friday Martini Night.

Speaking of trivia, Trivia Tuesdays begin at 7 p.m., making Triona’s a natural destination for anyone whose greatest competitive skill isn’t necessarily athletic.

The bar has also leaned heavily into major sporting events, with screens positioned throughout the space and a crowd that can get particularly lively when the stakes are high.

Whether you’re watching the Knicks, NFL, college football, soccer or the latest big game, Triona’s on Third is designed around one simple philosophy: nobody should have to ask, “Wait, what happened?”

Because at Triona’s, there’s probably a TV showing it from six different angles.

And yes, the wings are coming too.
