New York theater lovers, your wallet just got a standing ovation.
NYC Off-Broadway Week is back, and the fall 2026 edition is giving theatergoers a very good reason to stop scrolling through Netflix and actually leave the apartment. From October 5 through October 18, audiences can score 2-for-1 tickets to 25 Off-Broadway productions across Manhattan.
And there is plenty to choose from.
This year’s lineup includes everything from comedy and musical parodies to drama, magic and family-friendly theater. Among the participating productions are The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Drunk Dracula, Friends! The Musical Parody, The Play That Goes Wrong, Perfect Crime, Singfeld! An Unauthorized Musical Parody About Nothing and The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
There are also 14 new participating shows making their Off-Broadway Week debut, including A Ghost in Your Ear, Creation Stories and All the Important Importants, The Hairy Ape, The Heart, Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody, Jena Friedman: Motherfcker* and The Unbelievers.
In other words, there is something for practically every theater mood.
Want serious drama? Check.
Want comedy so ridiculous you may question your life choices? Absolutely.
Want to watch someone perform magic and then spend the rest of the evening wondering how they did it? Also covered.
The promotion is presented by New York City Tourism + Conventions in partnership with the Off-Broadway League, and participating shows can be sorted online by neighborhood, genre and audience.
The timing is particularly perfect for New Yorkers looking for a fall night out without Broadway-level ticket prices.
Because let’s face it: dinner for two in Manhattan can already require a financial adviser.
Two-for-one Off-Broadway tickets, however, are a much better investment.
So pick a show, grab a friend and prepare to applaud.
Your bank account may even join in.
