More than a year after fashion designer Martha Nolan-O’Slatarra was found dead aboard a yacht in Montauk, new allegations from her family’s attorney have intensified questions surrounding her death.
As new details emerge from the death, Nolan-O’Slatarra’s friend and former business partner, Dylan Grace, was spotted in Spain at a wedding.

New details have emerged on the death of Martha Nolan-O’Slatarra..
Nolan-O’Slatarra, 33, was discovered aboard the yacht Ripple at the Montauk Yacht Club on Aug. 5, 2025. Her death was initially viewed as a possible accidental drug overdose. However, her family’s attorney, Michael Bowe, now says an independent second autopsy found no evidence supporting a fatal overdose and detected only trace amounts of cocaine.
Bowe also claims emergency medical personnel encountered blood on Nolan-O’Slatarra’s mouth, chest and head, and that the area had apparently been wiped down before police arrived. Those allegations have become central to the family’s argument that her death may have involved foul play.
The family has now filed a $50 million wrongful-death lawsuit against yacht owner Christopher Durnan, alleging assault and negligence. Durnan, who had invested in Nolan-O’Slatarra’s swimwear business, has not been criminally charged.
Suffolk County police continue to investigate, but authorities have released limited information. For now, significant questions remain unanswered about what happened during Nolan-O’Slatarra’s final hours and whether her death was accidental or the result of something more sinister.
