Ronnie Fieg has officially found another way to make New Yorkers want to hang around Kith a little longer.
The new Ronnie’s Pronto Truck is now parked outside Kith’s Manhattan flagship at 337 Lafayette Street, bringing Fieg’s grab-and-go food concept from the fashion world to the streets of NYC. And yes, this means you can potentially leave Kith with a new pair of sneakers and a Wagyu burger. Priorities.
The truck is the latest evolution of Ronnie’s Pronto, Fieg’s hospitality concept, and its New York menu is built around the new Ronnie’s Meal. Everything arrives in a custom-designed red box with individual compartments for the burger or sandwich, fries, beverage and dipping sauce. Basically, a lunchbox for people who think lunch should have better branding.
There are three main choices: the Wagyu Royale, topped with American cheese, tomato, red onion, pickles and special sauce; the Wagyu OG, featuring caramelized onions, American cheese, pickles and Pronto sauce; and the Wagyu Pronto, a sliced Wagyu pastrami sandwich with sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, bread-and-butter pickles and Pronto sauce.
Then things get very Ronnie Fieg.
The meal comes with a limited-edition collectible, with the first being a miniature die-cast version of the iconic ASICS GEL-LYTE III “Salmon Toe”, complete with its own tiny shoebox. It is part food, part fashion and part “I definitely need to keep this.”
And don’t overlook the Pronto Freeze, Ronnie’s sippable frozen drink, available in flavors including Maison Crimson and Oahu Cooler.
The truck is open Monday and Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. It is closed Tuesdays.
So, yes, Kith’s SoHo/NoHo flagship just became a little harder to leave.
Because now there’s a burger truck outside.
