New York City has a new reason to say bonjour to downtown nightlife. Saint Denis NYC is bringing Parisian bistro glamour, classic French cooking, and a lively bar scene to Greenwich Village, creating the kind of destination that could turn a casual dinner into an all-night affair.

Located at 490 LaGuardia Place, near the intersection of SoHo, Greenwich Village, and the West Village, Saint Denis is the latest project from restaurateur Jon Neidich and his Golden Age Hospitality group, known for downtown favorites including Le Dive and The Nines.

The concept celebrates the golden age of downtown New York, with a French bistro atmosphere that feels timeless without taking itself too seriously. Inside, an impressive antique Art Deco bar back sourced from Paris sets the tone, while merlot-colored leather banquettes, vintage-inspired details, and curated artwork create an intimate setting with plenty of personality.

Naturally, the menu is a major part of the attraction.

Saint Denis serves classic French bistro favorites, including steak au poivre, escargot, chicken liver mousse, and steak frites. Oysters, martinis, and a substantial selection of French wines add even more reasons to settle in. With more than 80 French wines featured, there is plenty to explore whether you’re a Burgundy devotee or simply looking for something delicious to accompany dinner.

The restaurant’s culinary team includes chef Marjorie Meek-Bradley, whose experience includes Pastis and St. Anselm, alongside beverage director Sarah Morrissey and wine director Jamie Kelso. Together, they’re bringing serious hospitality credentials to this new downtown address.

For anyone searching for new restaurants in NYC, French restaurants in Greenwich Village, or the hottest new bars in downtown Manhattan, Saint Denis deserves a place on the radar.

Whether you’re planning date night, meeting friends, or craving steak frites with a perfectly chilled martini, this newcomer makes a compelling case for heading downtown.

Saint Denis is serving Parisian attitude with New York energy—and that sounds like a très good combination.
